Vinification: Spanna, as Nebbiolo wine is called in the Piedmont's Novara area, is produced with Nebbiolo grapes that are harvested in the first days of October. After having pressed the grapes, the must macerates for 8 days with the grape skins; afterwards the skins are separated from the must and the wine ferments in stainless steel at a controlled temperature. When the wine is clear, it is put into oak barrels for about 1 year where both the taste and the fragrance can refine themselves. After that, the wine stay in stainless steel and then is bottled.
Colour: intense ruby red.
Taste: agreeable, typical dry of Nebbiolo.
Fragrance: intense, characteristic.
